289.522 White pepper; standards.
Sec. 2.
No person, firm or corporation shall manufacture for sale, or expose for sale, sell, exchange or deliver or have in his possession with intent to sell, exchange or deliver, any ground or whole white pepper which contains not less than 7 per cent of non-volatile ether extract, not less than 52 per cent of starch, not more than 5 per cent of crude fiber, not more than 3-5/10 per cent of total ash, nor more than 3/10 per cent of ash insoluble in hydrochloric acid.
