§4–1007.
(a)For fiscal years 2020 through 2023, each year the Governor shall include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of $475,000 for Prince George’s County to be used by the Chief of Police for a criminal apprehension and suppression initiative focused on reducing violent crime.
(b)The funds required to be included in the annual budget bill under subsection
(a)of this section shall be used solely to supplement, and not supplant, funds otherwise available for a criminal apprehension and suppression initiative focused on reducing violent crime in Prince George’s County.
