§3–216.
(a)A person may not:
(1)interfere with or hinder the performance of any duty of the Commissioner under this subtitle; or
(2)knowingly give false information to the Commissioner.
(b)A person may not knowingly:
(1)employ a minor in violation of a provision of this subtitle; or
(2)allow a minor to be employed in violation of a provision of this subtitle.
(1)A person who violates any provision of subsection
(a)of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or both.
(2)A person who violates any provision of subsection
(b)of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or both.
