§14–5F–29.
(a)Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, an individual may not practice, attempt to practice, or offer to practice naturopathic medicine in this State without a license.
(b)An individual who violates subsection
(a)of this section or § 14–5F–30 of this subtitle is guilty of a felony and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 5 years or both.
(c)Any individual who violates subsection
(a)of this section or § 14–5F–30 of this subtitle is subject to a civil fine of not more than $50,000 to be levied by a disciplinary panel.
(d)The Board shall pay any penalty collected under this section into the Board of Physicians Fund.
