§14–510.
(a)Any person who violates any provision of this subtitle may be enjoined by a court of competent jurisdiction upon application of the Department acting through the Attorney General.
(b)Any person who violates any provision of this subtitle or any regulation, permit, or order issued thereunder, is liable to a penalty not exceeding $10,000, as well as being subject to being enjoined as provided in subsection
(a)of this section. The monetary penalty thus provided may be recovered in a civil action by the Department through the Attorney General.
