§25–204.
(a)The admission of the states of Delaware and West Virginia into the Southern Regional Education Compact is approved, and the states of Delaware and West Virginia or either of them shall become a party to the Compact upon approval in each instance by the legislature and the governor, and upon further approval of their admission by the other states which were party to the original Compact.
(b)As of July 1, 1985, the State of Maryland approves the State of Oklahoma as a party to the Southern Regional Education Compact. Approval by the other states which are members of the Compact is required.
(c)Upon the approval of this act, the Governor of Maryland shall sign an accurate copy of it and submit it to the Southern Regional Education Board, 1340 Spring Street, N.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30309.
