§11–106.
(1)The Commission shall establish:
(i)A Faculty Advisory Council;
(ii)A Student Advisory Council;
(iii)A Segmental Advisory Council;
(iv)A Financial Assistance Advisory Council;
(v)A Maryland Digital Library Advisory Council;
(vi)A Private Career School Advisory Council; and
(vii)A Program Review Process Advisory Council.
(2)These Councils shall meet periodically for the purpose of reviewing such matters as are referred by the Commission or the Secretary for their consideration and advice.
(3)The Councils may make reports and recommendations to the Commission.
(1)The Commission may appoint continuing advisory committees that represent various groups in the higher education community.
(2)Advisory committees may make recommendations to the Commission on matters of statewide importance that affect their constituencies.
