§13–2506.
(1)The sheriff shall suspend a license if the licensee fails to comply with the reporting requirements of § 13-2504 of this subtitle.
(2)The suspension shall continue until the licensee meets the reporting requirements of § 13-2504 of this subtitle.
(b)Except as provided in subsection
(a)of this section and subject to the procedures provided in subsection
(c)of this section, the sheriff may not issue a new license for 1 year to a licensee that:
(1)has refused to file a report required under § 13-2504 of this subtitle; or
(2)has failed to comply with this subtitle.
(1)The sheriff shall notify the licensee or applicant for a license by registered mail of the sheriff’s suspension or refusal to issue a license.
(2)The licensee or applicant may appeal the decision in writing to the sheriff within 30 days after receiving the notice from the sheriff.
