§4–302.1.
(a)The Department shall approve training programs that an individual may complete to satisfy the domestic violence awareness training requirements of this title.
(b)A training program approved under subsection
(a)of this section must:
(1)be offered in person and virtually;
(2)include guidance on:
(i)recognizing the signs of domestic violence;
(ii)strategies to navigate conversations with clients who may be victims of domestic violence;
(iii)how to listen to and communicate with victims of domestic violence; and
(iv)connecting clients with resources and support groups for victims of domestic violence; and
(3)have a duration of at least 1 hour.
