§36–409.
(a)The following businesses shall register with the Administration in order to provide services to a cannabis licensee:
(1)a transporter;
(2)a security guard agency;
(3)a waste disposal company;
(4)a cannabis nursery; and
(5)any other type of cannabis business that is authorized by the Administration to provide plant or product–touching services to cannabis licensees.
(b)The Administration shall adopt regulations that establish:
(1)the standards and requirements to be met by an entity to obtain a registration under this subtitle; and
(2)the basis and processes for approval, denial, revocation, and suspension of the cannabis registration.
(c)A registration to operate a transporter, security guard agency, or waste disposal company issued by the Natalie M. LaPrade Medical Cannabis Commission on or before July 1, 2023, shall be valid under this title and authorize a transporter, security guard agency, or waste disposal company to handle medical and adult–use cannabis and cannabis products.
