Section 54. The attorney general shall investigate core rooms where workers are employed, and shall make rules regulating the employment of workers therein. The rules shall relate to the structure and location of the rooms, the emission of gases and fumes from ovens, and the size and weight which the workers shall be allowed to lift or work on. A copy of the rules shall be posted in every core room where workers are employed. Whoever violates any such rule shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred nor more than three thousand dollars.
