Section 8.
(a)The department may issue a license without examination to an applicant who meets the requirements for licensure established by the department if such applicant is licensed or certified in alcohol and drug counseling or in recovering coaching or a comparable field in another state wherein the requirements for licensure shall be determined by the department to be equivalent to or in excess of the requirements of this chapter.
(b)The department shall promulgate rules and regulations as may be necessary to implement this section.
