Section 34: Disposition of fees

Section 34. The fees received under the preceding sections, together with all other fees received by the registrar or any other person under the laws of the commonwealth relating to the use and operation of motor vehicles and trailers, shall be disposed of as follows:
(i)$2 from every motorcycle registration issued pursuant to section 2 shall be deposited into the General Fund and used solely for the purpose of promoting and advancing motorcycle safety;
(ii)all fees from the issuance of veterans plates pursuant to section 2, in excess of the fees set for the registration of the motor vehicle, shall be deposited into the General Fund; and
(iii)any amount remaining after compliance with clauses
(i)and
(ii)shall be deposited into the Commonwealth Transportation Fund established in section 2ZZZ of chapter 29.
