Article 90. Assaulting or willfully disobeying superior commissioned officer.
A person subject to this code who:
(1)strikes a superior commissioned officer or draws or lifts up any weapon or offers violence against a superior commissioned officer while such superior commissioned officer is in the execution of the duties of office; or
(2)willfully disobeys a lawful command of such person's superior commissioned officer shall be punished, if the offense is committed in time of war, by confinement for not more than 10 years or by such other punishment as a court-martial may direct and, if the offense is committed at any other time, by such punishment as a court-martial may direct.
