Section 11: Office of programming; director of programming

Section 11. There shall be located within the division of capital asset management and maintenance an office of programming headed by a director of programming. Said director shall be appointed by the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance, with the prior written approval of the secretary of administration and finance, and may be removed in like manner. The position of director shall not be subject to chapter 31 or section 9A of chapter 30.
No person shall be appointed director of the office of programming unless the person has extensive experience in the study and programming of buildings.
The commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance shall be responsible for the exercise of all powers and the performance of all duties assigned by law to the office of programming, which shall be under his direction, control, and supervision.
