Section 15D. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the last week of May as Massachusetts Art Week, and recommending that it be observed by the display of works of art and appropriate exhibitions and ceremonies in museums, public and private schools, libraries and elsewhere, in recognition of the great cultural tradition of the commonwealth.
