§649.2. Lifetime sports fishing license
Prior to June 1, 2022, any bona fide resident of this state may obtain a lifetime sports fishing license. The lifetime sports fishing license shall be in lieu of the following recreational and sports fishing licenses: basic recreational fishing and saltwater recreational fishing. After June 1, 2022, the license shall no longer be sold, but shall continue to provide to any holder privileges in lieu of a basic fishing, saltwater, crab, and recreational fishing gear licenses and shall permit WMA access for purposes other than hunting.
