§55.1. Toledo Bend Reservoir; assignment of officers
The department is authorized to enter into an agreement with the Sabine River Authority, for the permanent assignment of four commissioned wildlife officers and agents to the Toledo Bend Reservoir. Such officers and agents shall be authorized to enforce any laws under the jurisdiction of the department, including those conferred on duly commissioned wildlife officers and agents of the department, pursuant to this Subpart or pursuant to other law. The Sabine River Authority shall bear all costs of the salaries and related benefits, equipment, and land and water transportation expenses of such officers and agents for a period of two years, commencing September 1, 1992; thereafter, the department shall be responsible for all such costs and expenses of the four officers assigned to the Toledo Bend Reservoir.
The officers assigned to the Toledo Bend Reservoir shall remain under the supervision and control of the department.
