§4. Authority of Department of Conservation and Energy over navigable water bottoms
Nothing in this Title and particularly in R.S. 56:3 affects in any way the authority of the Department of Conservation and Energy to lease or otherwise administer the beds and bottoms of navigable rivers, streams, bayous, lagoons, lakes, bays, sounds, and inlets bordering on or connecting with the Gulf of Mexico within the territory or jurisdiction of the state, as established by law and regulations promulgated thereunder.
