§304.3. Registered vessels
A commercial fishing vessel is considered registered under the laws of this state and for purposes of Section 306 of the Magnuson Fisheries Conservation and Management Act whenever the vessel is licensed pursuant to this Subpart, is owned or operated by a person licensed under this Part, or whenever the vessel is used to bring fish into the state or its coastal waters or to fish for, take, catch, or transport fish that come into the state or its coastal waters.
