§14. Printing for the House and Senate
Each of the two houses of the legislature shall order, audit, contract and pay for its own printing, binding and supplies, and shall issue its own orders and see that its contracts are complied with, except that joint or separate bids shall be obtained and joint or separate contracts or purchase orders awarded for
(1)proof sheets, calendars and journals,
(2)bills and resolutions,
(3)printing and binding of acts,
(4)case binding of acts, and
(5)miscellaneous printing and supplies as may be required from time to time by the purchasing agent.
