§1136. Official determination of boundary
The agreement entered into under the provisions of R.S. 41:1132 or the proces verbal of the findings of the commission under the provisions of R.S. 41:1133, shall constitute the official survey or boundary between the properties in question, and copies thereof, certified to by the clerk of court from the records of his office, or by the Register of the State Land Office from the records of his office, shall be admissible in evidence in any of the courts of this state, and shall be conclusive evidence of the correctness of the boundaries, and the finality of the issue, unless the agreement or commission's findings be set aside in a direct action, on the ground of fraud or gross error.
If a party owning the abutting or contiguous lands desires to implead the state in a suit having in view the conversion of the decree of the commission into a judgment of the court, then service on the attorney general shall be deemed service on the State of Louisiana, and authority is herein and hereby given to so implead the state in all suits having in view the conversion of the decree of the commission into a judgment of the court.
