§1667.9. Extra compensation for commissioned full-time harbor police, fireboat personnel, and bridge police
In addition to the compensation now paid to any harbor police officer, fireboat operator, and bridge police officer, every harbor police officer, fireboat employee, and bridge police officer who is a full-time employee and who is paid a salary of not less than eight hundred dollars per month and who has completed and passed a post-certified training program as provided in R.S. 40:2405 and who has completed or who hereafter completes one year of service shall be paid by the state extra compensation in the amount of six hundred dollars per month. The provisions of this Section shall only apply to employees of a political subdivision of the state.
