§1394.1. Annual salary schedule
The deputy secretary of public safety services of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of state police, shall prepare and submit a report of salary schedules for troopers and officers of the state police service, whether classified or unclassified, to the governor, the commissioner of administration, and the speaker of the House of Representatives and the president of the Senate for distribution by them to the members of each house of the legislature not later than the fifteenth day of November prior to the regular session held pursuant to Article III, Section 2(A)(4) of the Constitution of Louisiana.
The report shall include a comparison of the salaries of troopers and officers of the division of state police, with the salaries of local law enforcement officers in the state in addition to other matters deemed pertinent by the superintendent. The report may contain such other information as deemed appropriate by the deputy secretary.
