§1404.1. Designation and duties of secretary
The director of the State Bond Commission, or such other officer as may be appointed by the state treasurer, shall serve as the secretary of the State Bond Commission. The secretary of the State Bond Commission shall have charge of the records and books and keep the minutes of the meetings of the State Bond Commission. The secretary is also authorized
(i)to certify the proceedings and official acts of the State Bond Commission,
(ii)see that all notices relating to the activities of the State Bond Commission are duly given as required by law,
(iii)sign bonds or other evidences of indebtedness, and
(iv)in general perform all duties incident to the office of secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him by the chairman of the State Bond Commission.
Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the state treasurer shall be responsible for any acts or omissions of the director of the State Bond Commission in performing the duties required of him under Sections 1403 and 1404.1 of Title 39 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950.
