§36. Records; reports; exemptions
A. An entity issuing licenses to engage in certain fields of work pursuant to state law shall keep record and compile a report of the number of licenses denied by the entity, including all reasons for such denial, when the denial is of an otherwise qualified applicant who has been convicted of an offense or offenses.
B. The entity shall provide the report annually to the House Committee on Commerce no later than February first of each year.
C. This Chapter shall not apply to any license, certification, or permit regulated by any of the following:
(1)The State Boxing and Wrestling Commission.
(2)The Louisiana Gaming Control Board.
(3)The Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
(4)The Louisiana State Racing Commission.
(5)The office of charitable gaming, Department of Revenue.
(6)The gaming enforcement division, office of state police, Department of Public Safety and Corrections.
