§334.9. Bond issues; taxes for payment of bonds
The district shall constitute a political subdivision of the state of Louisiana for the purpose of the issuance of bonds under the authority of Section 14, Article XIV of the Constitution of the State of Louisiana and Chapter IV of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of 1950, and the district may issue bonds for the acquisition, improvement or extension of any facilities which it is authorized to acquire pursuant to the provisions of Section 14, Article XIV of the Constitution of 1921, Chapter IV aforesaid and the provisions of this Part VII and Sections 30.1 and 31 of Article XIV of the Constitution of Louisiana.
All of the provisions of Section 14 and Chapter IV aforesaid requiring the levying of taxes fully sufficient to pay bonds issued thereunder shall be applicable to the payment of bonds issued as provided in this Section.
