§245. Examinations and investigations; control and regulation; annual report
The board of commissioners shall examine and investigate all questions relating to the interest and welfare of the district; it shall control and regulate the same, and make an annual report to the governor showing all receipts and disbursements of the board, the number of arrivals and departures of vessels and crafts and their tonnage, the exports and imports passing through the port district, setting forth the general condition of said district, its buildings, structures, facilities, and other properties, and making such recommendations for the development and welfare of the district and its management as to the board may seem advisable.
A copy of said report shall be promptly published in a newspaper printed in the City of New Iberia.
