§2254. Cooperation with other agencies; engineering advice and services
The commission is hereby authorized to cooperate with federal, state and local agencies and political subdivisions in carrying out its purposes as hereinabove described and is authorized to accept and expend funds acquired from appropriations, grants and donations from federal, state and local sources (including the police juries of the aforesaid parishes) or from any other sources whatsoever; provided, however, that the commission shall not enter into any contract requiring the expenditure of funds without stating the sources from which the required funds will be derived.
The department of public works for the state shall furnish to the commission such routine engineering advice and services as it shall require.
