§3690.3. Notice and hearing
If the governing authority of the parish determines to make the proposed improvements, it shall adopt a resolution giving notice of the intention to make such improvements and embody therein in a general way the improvements contemplated and the manner of payment therefor. Such notice shall be signed by the chairman of the Jefferson Parish Council, duly attested by the council clerk, and shall contain substantially all things set forth in said resolution, and shall set forth further that the Jefferson Parish Council will, in open session, on the date and at the time and place named, proceed to hear any and all objections to the proposed improvements and the manner of payment therefor, and after hearing and passing on such objections, proceed, if it so determines, to order such improvements constructed in the manner hereinafter provided.
Such notice of intention shall be published once a week for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in the parish, the first publication to be made not less than fifteen days before the date fixed for the said hearing of objections to the proposed improvements.
