PART V. EXPLOITATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES
§61. Exploitation of natural resources by secretary or employees prohibited
A. Neither the secretary nor any salaried officer or employee of the department shall be or become:
(1)Actively interested in the exploiting for personal gain of any natural resources in the state;
(2)Employed by any person engaged in exploiting any natural resources of the state;
(3)An officer of or a member of the board of directors of any corporation engaging in the exploitation of natural resources of the state.
B. Violation of this Section shall constitute grounds for removal from office or dismissal from employment.
