§4402. Management plan
A. The State Forestry Commission shall adopt a comprehensive forest and recreational management plan for the Alexander State Forest and Indian Creek Lake to post on the department's website and publish in the Potpourri section of the Louisiana Register.
B. The plan shall:
(1)Provide for the use of good forest management techniques.
(2)Preserve and enhance the recreational facilities and activities.
(3)Preserve and enhance the environmental and ecological regimes, wilderness qualities, natural and scenic areas, and wildlife habitat.
(4)Provide for educational and research areas.
(5)Prohibit commercial development within the state forest.
