§158b. Article 58b. Enforcement of fines
When a sentence, including a fine, or a finally approved adjudication of pecuniary liability under a report of survey has been ordered executed, the collection of the fine or the adjudication of pecuniary liability may be made executory and enforced by the attorney general in the district in which the court martial was held or in the parish of residence of the accused or person against whom the pecuniary charge was raised in the same manner as a money judgment in a civil case or by the withholding of any funds due the accused from the state or any of its agencies in accordance with regulations prescribed by the governor.
To the extent not prohibited by federal laws, or regulations, a fine may be enforced by withholding federal funds due the accused.
