PART XI. APPRAISERS FOR FIRE AND EXTENDED COVERAGE
SUBPART A. REGISTRATION
§1807.1. Registration required
A. A person shall not act as, or hold himself out to be, an appraiser in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 22:1311, 1892, or any policy of property insurance covering immovables unless such person is registered with the commissioner as an appraiser, an umpire, or both.
B. Each person shall register with the commissioner on a form prescribed by the commissioner and shall pay the fee required by R.S. 22:821(B)(34).
C. Each registration submitted pursuant to this Subpart expires each year on the anniversary date and may be renewed by filing a request for renewal on a form prescribed by the commissioner and by paying the renewal fee required by R.S. 22:821(B)(34).
