§2118. Annual statements by fire insurers; assessments for expenses of associations
A. This statement shall be made on forms furnished by the association and shall be sworn to by the president, secretary, general agent, or manager of the fire insurance company, association, or underwriter. It shall be filed with the secretary of the fire insurance patrol association within sixty days after the close of the year which it covers.
B. This assessment shall be based on the estimated expenses for the current year, together with liabilities due, and shall never exceed two percent of the gross amount of premiums received, less return premiums paid. The assessment shall be paid at the time of the filing of the statement provided for in this Section.
