PART I-A. SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR PARTY PRIMARY OFFICES
§410.1. Party primary elections
Party primary elections for party primary offices as defined in R.S. 18:2 shall be held pursuant to this Part, and any provision of this Code in conflict with these provisions shall not be applicable to elections for party primary offices. Any provision of this Code that is not in conflict with these provisions shall be applicable to these elections unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. For purposes of this Part, the phrase "major political party" shall mean a political party recognized pursuant to R.S. 18:441(C).
