SUBPART A. SABBATICAL LEAVES
§1170. Definitions
As used in this Subpart, the words "teacher" or "teaching staff" shall include any person employed by a city, parish, or other local public school board in the state of Louisiana who holds a valid teaching certificate issued by the state Department of Education and any social worker, school counselor, school nurse, audiologist, educational diagnostician, speech-language pathologist, or school psychologist employed by a city, parish, or other local public school board in the state who holds the appropriate valid professional ancillary certificate issued by the state Department of Education. For a school nurse, a professional ancillary certificate means a Type A, Type B, or Type C certificate.
