§582. Additional salaries and expenses of assistant district attorneys
A. The first assistant district attorney shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary paid by the state of Louisiana, an annual salary of six thousand six hundred dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant. The additional salary shall be paid by the parishes comprising the Twenty-Sixth Judicial District, apportioned as follows:
(1)By the parish of Webster, the sum of three thousand three hundred dollars per annum.
(2)By the parish of Bossier, the sum of three thousand three hundred dollars per annum.
B. The second assistant district attorney shall receive as compensation for his services in addition to the annual salary paid by the state of Louisiana, an annual salary of four thousand eight hundred dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant. The additional salary shall be paid by the parishes comprising the Twenty-Sixth Judicial District, apportioned as follows:
(1)By the parish of Webster, the sum of two thousand four hundred dollars per annum.
(2)By the parish of Bossier, the sum of two thousand four hundred dollars per annum.
C.(1) The third assistant district attorney shall receive as compensation for his services in addition to the annual salary paid by the state of Louisiana, an annual salary of three thousand six hundred dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant. The additional salary shall be paid by the parishes comprising the Twenty-Sixth Judicial District, apportioned as follows:
(a)By the parish of Webster, the sum of one thousand eight hundred dollars per annum.
(b)By the parish of Bossier, the sum of one thousand eight hundred dollars per annum.
(2)The provisions of this Subsection relating to the third assistant district attorney shall not become effective until such time as funds are appropriated or otherwise made available by the legislature for the payment of that portion of the salary of said third assistant district attorney which is payable by the state of Louisiana.
