§2623. Territorial jurisdiction; Iberville Parish justice of the peace courts and constables
A. The territorial limits of the justice of the peace districts and courts in Iberville Parish shall be as follows:
(1)The first justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Iberville Parish.
(2)The second justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 9, 10, 10B, 11, and 12 of Iberville Parish.
(3)The third justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 13, 14, 14A, 15, 17, and 18 of Iberville Parish.
(4)The fourth justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 19, 20, 21, and 22 of Iberville Parish.
(5)The fifth justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 15A, 16, 24, and 25 of Iberville Parish.
(6)The sixth justice of the peace district and court shall consist of Precincts 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, and 32 of Iberville Parish.
B. The persons elected to the offices of justice of the peace and constable for such justice of the peace courts in Iberville Parish at the regularly scheduled election in 2026 and their successors shall be elected from the districts provided in this Section.
