§3603. Treasurer; duties; bond
The director of administration of the city of Lafayette shall be the treasurer of the board of directors and custodian of all monies belonging to the fund. He shall deposit the monies in such depositories as may be designated by the board and shall disburse monies belonging to the fund only upon warrant of the secretary of the board, countersigned by the president thereof. The official bond of the director of administration shall be security for the faithful performance, by the director of administration, of his duties as treasurer of the board of directors, or in lieu thereof he may furnish a valid surety bond in the sum of ten thousand dollars.
In that event, the premium for the bond shall be paid out of the fund.
