§3106. Treasurer; duties; bond
The said Secretary-Treasurer of the City shall be the Treasurer of said Board of Trustees and custodian of all funds belonging to said Pension Relief Fund. He shall deposit the funds in such depositories as may be designated by said Board, and shall disburse funds belonging to said Pension Relief Fund only upon warrant of the Secretary of said Board, countersigned by the President thereof; the official bond of said Secretary-Treasurer shall stand as, and be security for the faithful performance, by said Secretary-Treasurer of the City, of his duties as Treasurer of the said Board of Trustees, or in lieu thereof, he may furnish a valid surety bond in the sum of ten thousand dollars.
The premium for the bond shall be paid out of said Fund.
