(1)The provisions of KRS 95.951 to 95.960 shall be in addition to the requirements of
KRS 61.300 or any other statute.
(2)The provisions of KRS 95.951 to 95.960 shall not be construed as limiting any city,
urban-county, or charter county in the Commonwealth which appoints or employs
peace officers or auxiliary police officers from requiring standards of performance
stricter than those contained in KRS 95.951 to 95.960.
