79.330 Transfer, alteration and appointment to joint city-county entities.

(1)When a city of the first class and a county containing such city have entered into a
compact pursuant to KRS 79.310 to 79.325, such city and county may provide for
the transfer and alteration of joint city-county entities as provided in 1986 Acts
Chapter 77.
(2)In making appointments to joint entities transferred or altered pursuant to 1986 Acts
Chapter 77, the mayor and the county judge/executive, to the extent practicable,
shall take into account the demographic characteristics of the county, including, but
not limited to, race and sex.
