78.415 Meetings -- Minutes -- Secretary.

(1)The board shall meet at least once every two
(2)calendar months and minutes of the
business of each meeting shall be kept.
(2)The board shall employ a secretary who shall also conduct all examinations, prepare
eligible lists, and keep all records and minutes of the board's business and perform
such other duties in connection with the business of the board as may be required by
the board. The secretary may be employed on either a part-time or full-time basis,
and said secretary shall receive such compensation as may be recommended by the
board and approved by the fiscal court. All orders and minutes of the board shall be
signed by the chairman thereof, who shall be elected by the board members, and the
minutes shall be countersigned by the secretary.
(3)All records and minutes of the board shall be considered public records.
