On the recommendation of the county surveyor, the county judge/executive may appoint one
(1)or more deputy surveyors, if the county judge/executive is satisfied that they are competent. The surveyor shall be answerable for the conduct of his deputies, and may remove any deputy at his discretion. The removal of a deputy must be entered on the records of the county judge/executive.
