67A.260 Present employees.

Employees, who at the time the provisions of KRS 67A.230 to 67A.350 become effective have been in the employ of the urban-county government, or any city or county or other municipality merged into such urban-county government,
(a)for six
(6)months last past or
(b)having been employed after taking a merit system examination, shall not be required to stand an original examination, unless the comprehensive plan otherwise provides, and shall be eligible for all the benefits provided by KRS 67A.230 to 67A.310, unless the comprehensive plan otherwise provides.
