67.250 Report of commissions -- Election of officers for new county.

The report of the commissions shall be entered on the records of each county judge/executive. At the next general election to be held in the counties for the election of county officers, officers for the new county shall be chosen. Said election shall be held and conducted in all respects under the general election laws obtaining in this Commonwealth at the time of the election. Members of the fiscal court for the new county shall be elected, one
(1)from each of the three
(3)districts created by the commissions, under the provisions of the law providing for the election of county commissioners under the commission form of government for counties, or any amendments thereto.
