40.130 Effect of final disapproval -- Procedure.

If the administrator shall disapprove any claim, or if the decision of the board of review be affirmance of the administrator's disapproval of the claim,
(1)No payment of a veterans' bonus shall be made;
(2)The administrator, upon receiving advice of the decision, shall note the same in a
permanent book or record in his office; shall forthwith return to the claimant the
copies of any official records submitted in support of the application; shall finally
close the claim file; and may destroy all other papers except the application;
(3)No person having knowledge of the final disapproval of the claim thereafter shall
file an application for payment of the same claim, or take action seeking in any
manner to obtain payment of a veterans' bonus thereon; and the filing of any such
application, or the taking of any such action, shall constitute an offense under KRS
40.990.
