The chief executive or governing body of each political subdivision of the state may:
(1)Enter into a contract or lease with the state, or accept any loan, or employ personnel,
and the political subdivision may equip, maintain, utilize, and operate any property
and employ necessary personnel therefor in accordance with the purposes for which
the contract is executed; and
(2)Do all things and perform all acts deemed necessary to effectuate the purpose for
which the contract was entered into in accordance with the Kentucky Emergency
Operations Plan.
