367.130 Consumers' Advisory Council -- Members -- Appointment.

(1)The members of the Consumers' Advisory Council shall be sixteen
(16)in number
and shall be appointed by the Governor and shall include citizens of Kentucky
generally knowledgeable in consumer affairs.
(2)In addition to the members appointed by the Governor, the Attorney General shall
be an ex officio member and shall serve as the chairman of the Consumers'
Advisory Council.
(3)The members of the council other than the Attorney General shall be appointed or
reappointed by the Governor within sixty
(60)days after July 1, 2000. Each member
shall serve for a three
(3)year term, except that of the members first appointed or
reappointed after July 1, 2000, six
(6)shall be appointed for a term of one
(1)year,
five
(5)shall be appointed for a term of two
(2)years, and five
(5)shall be
appointed for a term of three
(3)years. Members of the council shall be eligible for
reappointment by the Governor.
(4)Each member of the Consumers' Advisory Council shall be a resident of Kentucky,
and except for the Attorney General, shall not be in the employ of the
Commonwealth, except as a faculty member or on the staff of a school.
